I can see the most important functionality is switch for motor control.Bohumil Janák napsal: Nevím jak to popsat, ale jde o to,jestli by byla možnost dostat do SkyAssisant funkci pro F5J-FAI kategorii.
I am sorry, but adding this hardware is not possible from 2 reasons:
- Is no free microcontroller resources for driving additional switch.
- SkyAssistant is CE certified. Every hardware change needs another certification what is very costly for radio transmitting devices (~28000 Euro). I would like to avoid that cost.
Instead this we can use altitude alarm to detect desired altitude. It will not switch motor automatically, but give information to user about reaching the altitude.
Škoda
Děkuji za odpověď.

Problem is not with the detection (we can connect variometer to engine channel via Y cable). Problem is with generating PWM signal to automatically turn off the engine.Aleš Krátký napsal: takze pokud tomu dobre rozumim je problem s detekci vypnuti motoru ,aby se dalo odmerit + 10 sec od tohoto momentu ?.

automaticaly switch-off isnt "basic" function.

OK. To be sure if I understand. On this example I marked with cursors (2 yellow, dotted vertical lines) time from probably time of motor switch off to next 10s (9.63s in this example). If variometer would be connected to motor channel using Y cable, we would see change of the value on the PPM channel (white line on the bottom).Aleš Krátký napsal: basic is detect if user motor switch off, and then wait 10 sec and log max height from start to this point.
Next we move first cursor to the highest altitude marker (cross with number on the altitude graph) and read difference of altitudes (14,2m in this case). Right?
In very simple way I can reset reference altitude 10s after detecting signal change. This place become altitude 0, Altitudes above it will be positive, altitudes below will be negative. After landing you will have message for example "Altitude -210m". It will mean, the reference point 10s after motor off was on altitude 210m.
Or maybe you will need it more automatized?
One more question:
Do you want to have this parameter spoken by voice, or just enough will be read it from graph after landing and reading logs?

this isnt way
you must have TOP height from 0 (hand launch) to motor switch off + 10 sec.
